About Dr. Davenport
Dr. Davenport is a civilian pilot and United States Air Force (USAF) flight surgeon board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He has flight hours in the T-37, T-38, F-16, HH-60 Blackhawk, as well as multiple cargo, air refueling, and civilian aircraft.

Dr. Davenport is an Active Duty Colonel serving in the USAF. He is the Surgeon General’s Aerospace Cardiology Consultant, Chairman of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Occupational Aviation Cardiology Working Group, and Federal Air Surgeon Cardiology Consultant for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Dr. Davenport has over 100 publications and has authored all USAF cardiac aircrew waiver guides since 2009. He is an internationally recognized subject matter expert and Associate Professor of Medicine for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. As a gifted speaker, he has given presentations in Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France and multiple United States Universities.
